PSYCHE-OUT ALLEGIANCE: AUTOBOT FUNCTION: PSYCHOLOGICAL WARFARE FIRST APPEARANCE: "THE REBIRTH" PART 3 "What you don't know can hurt you." Profile:  Psyche-Out is a specialist who uses psychology to defeat the Decepticons.  Rather than marching into battle and trying to fight them with a laser pistol, Psyche-Out believes the secret to winning the war is to discover everything he can about how the Decepticons think.  He excels at preying upon their mental weaknesses and exploiting them in order to defeat them.  He is highly intelligent, completely dedicated, and utterly compassionless.  In truth, Psyche-Out regards the Decepticons as little more than laboratory animals in his own personal experiments. The other Autobots appreciate his dedication to the cause, but they are often disturbed by he clinical, detached manner in which he carries out his duties. Abilities:  As a jet, Psyche-Out can fly at up to 1200 mph.  His primary means of offense is his nosecone, which transmits electronic hypno-waves capable of disorienting opponents.  In robot mode, he uses an arm-mounted mental agitator cannon that has the effect of magnifying his target's emotions.  This enables him to exploit the weaknessess of his enemies even more effectively. Weaknesses:  Although Psyche-Out is not concerned about the emotional and often permanent distress he creates, he dislikes violence.  His goals are to rehabilitate the Decepticons, not to destroy them, and he goes out of his way to avoid engaging them in a combat scenario.
