Profile: In theory, Chomp
Stomp has all the makings of an effective Decepticon warrior. He is
powerful, terrifying, and swift. However, he hates getting messy. He
usually won't attack humans, for example, because he dislikes getting anything
stuck in his teeth. Likewise, he generally avoids fighting Autobots
because he says their oil stains his claws. No matter the situation,
if it involves getting dirty, Chomp Stomp has a reason to avoid it. He's
more than happy to blast away at his enemies from a distant vantage point,
but the notion of close combat utterly repels him. It is this ideal
that reduces Chomp Stomp to a woefully ineffective warrior, since he will
very rarely exercise the lethal abilities with which he was
created.
Abilities: In creature mode,
Chomp Stomp is built to function in any environment. He is most at
home in the water, but he is also capable of hopping tremendous distances
on land and can also achieve limited flight. His back-mounted fin blaster
fires concentrated bursts of compressed air, which assists his aerial
maneuverability as well as his travel through the water. His powerful
jaws are capable of crushing a granite boulder into powder. As a robot,
he carries a sonic pulverizer rifle, capable of destroying targets with waves
of intense sound energy.
Weaknesses: Aside from his
aforementioned tendency to avoid dirtying his hands, Chomp Stomp's jaws sometimes
get stuck when he is cleaning his teeth, rendering him nearly useless in
creature mode.
