Profile:  Showstopper longs to be appreciated.  He desperately seeks approval from the other Autobots in whatever he does.  So important is this validation to him that he will accept any mission and take any risk to gain their respect.  He volunteers for the most dangerous assignments if there is the promise that he will be recognized for it.  Showstopper is an insecure robot who is full of doubts.  He is unsure of himself or his abilities, and needs the acceptance of the other Autobots to feel valued.  This is so important to him that he is often hesitant to perform when no one else is watching. Abilities:  Showstopper transforms into two different vehicle modes.  As a car, he can travel up to 260 mph, and is among the most maneuverable and adept Autobots on land.  He can execute hairpin turns with a minimal loss of speed or control.  As a helicopter, he flies at up to 600 mph.  He will continuously change from one mode to the other to try to impress his comrades and amaze his opponents.  In robot mode, he uses a chronometric distortion rifle that dramatically slows down the reaction time of his enemies during battle.  The effects are temporary and usually last only minutes. Weaknesses: Showstopper's biggest problem is that he lacks self-confidence.  His doubts in his own abilities often hinder his performance, particularly when there is no one to observe his behavior.
