STICKSHIFT ALLEGIANCE: DECEPTICON FUNCTION: SOLDIER FIRST APPEARANCE: "FIVE FACES OF DARKNESS" PART 1 "If it ain't broke, don't fix it." Profile:  Stickshift is a stubborn, ornery codger and one of the oldest Decepticon troops.  He hates new technology, and is resentful of the newer-model Decepticons, particularly those created by Unicron.  He believes that the key to winning the war lies in old-fashioned perseverance and determination, not through technological improvements.  His disdain for progress manifests itself most strongly on the battlefield—he reserves his hatred for the newest of the Autobots, focusing all his energy on trying to destroy them first. Abilities: In vehicle mode, Stickshift travels around 130 mph, though his maximum speed varies on any given day.  He refuses to upgrade or replace his vehicular components (tires, spark plugs, shock absorbers, etc.) which affects his performance.   He is armed with a trunk-mounted dual-barreled steam cannon that fires burst of super-heated compressed air.  As a robot, he carries an old-fashioned projectile weapon that fires titanium-tipped metal bullets. Weaknesses:  Stickshift's infrastructure is prone to mechanical problems.  His gearbox assembly is particularly problematic, and he frequently finds himself unable to drive in any direction except reverse.
